Union minister Dr Jitendra Singh recently announced that IISF-2022 will be held in Bhopal in January 2023 & will be one of the major events since India took over the G-20 Presidency.
He said that in the last 8 years under PM Modi, scientific breakthroughs have reached from the lab to the land, bringing “Ease of Living” to the common man.
There will be 14 events during the 4 day long event along with participation of more than 8,000 delegates from across the country.
Several Guiness Records are expected to be made during the event, as young students & scientists will be gearing up to demonstrate workable models.
The involvement of Department of Space & Department of Atomic Energy in supporting IISF is an added attraction this year.
IISF is the initiative of the Ministry of Science & Technology and Ministry of Earth Science, in association with Vijnana Bharati, a movement for popularization of science among students & masses.
